Wishwell

Terms of Service

Last updated October 2026.

1. What Wishwell does

Wishwell lets people (“wishers”) post items they would like from Amazon and lets other people (“sponsors”) contribute money toward those items. When a wish is fully funded, Wishwell places the order with Amazon and has the item shipped to the wisher. Wishwell is not a charity, and contributions are gifts between people facilitated by our service — they are not tax-deductible donations.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when you sign up. You are responsible for activity on your account. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service, post misleading wishes, or attempt to defraud other users.

3. Wishes

Wishes must be real Amazon items, and the price shown always comes from the live Amazon listing — wishers cannot set their own prices. Wishers must provide an accurate shipping address; it is stored privately and used only to deliver funded gifts. We may remove wishes that are inappropriate, misleading, or unavailable.

4. Contributions and payments

Sponsor contributions are processed by our payment provider. A contribution is applied to the wish you chose and counts toward its funding goal. The amount charged includes the contribution plus applicable sales tax estimated from the wisher's delivery location. When a wish reaches its full price, funding closes and the order is placed.

5. Orders and delivery

After a wish is fully funded, our team places the order manually with Amazon. Delivery times follow Amazon's estimates. If an item becomes unavailable or its price rises above the funded amount, we will either cover a small difference, wait for the price to return, or refund sponsors in full.

6. Refunds

If a wish is removed, cancelled, or cannot be ordered, all contributions toward it are refunded to the original payment method. See our Refund Policy for the full details.

7. Conduct

Be kind. Notes left for wishers must not contain harassment, hate, spam, or personal information requests. Wish stories must be honest. We may remove content and suspend accounts that violate these rules.

8. Liability

Wishwell provides the service “as is”. We are responsible for placing orders for fully funded wishes, but we are not responsible for Amazon's shipping delays, manufacturer defects, or events outside our control. Our total liability is limited to the amounts you contributed through the service.

9. Changes

We may update these terms as the service grows. Material changes will be announced on the site. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
