What we collect
Your account details (name, email, and profile photo from your sign-in provider), the wishes you post (Amazon link, story, category), your shipping address, contributions you make, notes you leave, and support conversations.
How your shipping address is protected
Your shipping address is stored separately from your wish and is readable only by you and the Wishwell team. It is never shown to sponsors, never appears on public pages, and is used only to deliver your funded gift and to calculate the correct sales tax at checkout.
What sponsors and visitors see
Public pages show your first name and last initial only — never your full name, email, or address. Sponsors see the wishes, funding progress, and notes. Your full name and address are visible only to the team members who place orders.
Payments
Payments are processed by our payment provider. Wishwell never stores your card number; we receive only a confirmation and the amount paid.
How we use information
To run the service: display wishes, process contributions, place and track orders, calculate taxes, match sponsors with wishes, and provide support. We do not sell your personal information to anyone.
Cookies and analytics
We use basic analytics to understand how many people visit and which pages they read, so we can improve the service. We do not use advertising trackers.
Your choices
You can edit your shipping address, remove an open unfunded wish, or ask us to delete your account at any time through the support bubble. Deleting your account removes your profile and private information; records of completed contributions are kept for accounting.
